Kirsty and Serge had such a beautiful wedding at the HollyHedge Estate in New Hope, Pennsylvania. We love this wedding venue so much! It’s close by to us and it’s one of favorite places, New Hope. We often go to New Hope when we have free time for bike rides on the tow path and drinks at Karla’s followed by awesome vegan food at Sprig & Vine. Therefore, anytime, we have Holly Hedge Estate weddings we are so excited!
We loved Kirsty and Serge’s story of how they met and how Serge knew she was the one when he first saw her at the basketball game. Kirsty & Serge both have a love for basketball and play on a co-ed team together. Serge even proposed to her during a pickup game!
These two are also all about adventure. For instance, they recently came back from a 4 month honeymoon adventure all over the world! Therefore, we’ve been living our love of travel through them and their instagram posts!
Most importantly, now back to their wedding…It was absolutely gorgeous on their wedding day! They really lucked out because a lot of our weddings last year were either rained out or cloudy all day. The temperature was great which is always another reason why weddings in September are so nice.
We can’t say enough about the beautiful flowers by Bloomsbury Floral Designs! They also set up the lights over the reception dance floor which we absolutely loved! We highly suggest that anyone having their wedding set up try string lights exactly the way they did. Not only did it look romantic and create ambiance, it also made great light for photos.
We often see dogs at our weddings but it’s a lot harder to incorporate your cat into weddings. Well, Kirsty and Serge did an awesome job by creating a special wedding cocktail in their kitty, Marley’s name. They also included the cutest drawing of her!
We loved all of the touches that Kirsty and Serge put into their wedding including their handwritten vows and Serge’s piano performance for Kirsty. They embraced the fall season with their signature cocktail (Moscow mule) and their fall toned bridesmaids dresses. It was refreshing to see them each in a different color!
